The conference will explore the intersection of scholarship,
outreach, and teaching as related to the following topics:

Nonprofit Leadership
Community Engagement
Public Scholarship
Women's Leadership
International Experiential Learning
Civic Education
Civic Professionalism
Nonprofit Governance
Collaborative Studies
Volunteer Activism
 

Scholars and practitioners in the areas of nonprofit leadership, community engagement and public scholarship (as related to the topics listed above) are invited to submit papers for presentation, discussion and possible inclusion in a published volume. Graduate and undergraduate students are invited to offer presentations with the recommendation of a professor.

For consideration, please submit a 250-word abstract by email to barbara.baker@auburn.edu by March 1, 2012. The submission should include: name and title, professional affiliation, email and postal address. Presenters will be notified of acceptance by
April 2 and must register for the conference by May 1, 2012. Selected conference presenters will be invited to submit a 7-page draft of the completed paper by June 18, 2012 to be considered for publication in the accompanying volume.
