A letter from the President! 

Hello Fellow Phi Theta Kappa Members! I am Cortney Morris your 2009 President for the Alabama Region.  I am a freshman at Faulkner State Community College where I am President of the local chapter, Pi Psi. 

Faulkner State is very excited about hosting the Alabama Regional Convention next year.  I hope you will all be able to attend.  We are already making plans so that it will be a great event for everyone.

We want this to be a fun and productive year for your chapter so if I or the other officers can assist you in any way please let us know.  In that light I am attaching two items: the Districts of The Alabama Region and a listing of the Five Star status of the chapters that are enrolled.  Please review these documents and advise your district officer of any errors.  Soon your chapter will set your goals for participation in the Five Star program, so please call on us when you have questions about how we can help you reach your goals.

• International Convention (Grapevine, TX, April 15-18, 2009)
• International Honors Institute (Richmond, Virginia, June 22-26, 2009)
• Regional Honors Institute (Florence, AL July 24-26, 2009)
